Hostelmania brings mobile app to Android platform

With over 500 million+ mobile internet users worldwide, Hostelmania has extended its availability search application to a free mobile application on the Android platform. Contrary to the desktop experience, the traveller using their mobile device to search for local information is typically already on the ground in their destination city. They want to use their smart phones to find an address to a famous local attraction, directions to and from the airport, the check-in time of their hotel/hostel, and anything else that will improve their overall trip.

The demographics of these users fit into the target audience for Hostelmania.

The app is available on Android OS 2.2.1 or higher which will enable users to locate and book properties, check reservations and get details about where they will staying, including photographs.

The app has been built with the customer at heart, to give them more freedom and convenience.

One of key features would be the usage of “saved mode” which enables a customer to preview all the available properties(prices, details, maps etc) for a particular date and save it offline to share with people or view it again when no internet coverage is available ( for example whilst flying or travelling on the tube).
